The City Council this week will vote to approve the retirement of Sam Anderson from the City of Knoxville. Sam Anderson has served as Director of Parks and Recreation. He retires with more than 30 years of service. Read the resolution, here. He will receive a monthly pension benefit in excess of $6,900.00 a month. And some of you people complain about the Sheriff’s Department pension?
